Oct.27 2023. Tim Mollerstrom is the Facilities operator at Linn-Benton Community College. I asked Tim some questions on what he does to get a better understanding of the day in the life of a Facilities Operator. Tim stocks and takes care of all the accessories and equipment that every athlete at LB needs. He's responsible of all the daily operations that go on in the activities center and he is to make sure everything is in check and going right. Tim does a great job at what he does and Linn-Benton is lucky to have him.

First thing time does in the morning is he comes in and makes sure all the locker rooms are unlocked for the athletes to start their day. He then works at his desk checking all the things he needs to get done In a full days work. At the end of the day he checks every room in the athletic center and makes sure they are all supplied with the inventory that they need for the next day to begin.

 Hi, my name is Liam Spencer. I still am undecided on my major even though I'd like to get my bachelor's degree in criminal justice, the reason why I'm "Undecided" is because Linn-Benton doesn't allow that to be a major. I took this class because I wanted to be able to take an Art class In-person because I am not the best learner online. It is easier for me to focus when it is a face-to-face class. Photos on the job - Liam Spencer

Kevin Sanchez putting in the work to make sure he gets his schoolwork done. He had to make sure he had a nice warm brew to keep him focused. Kevin is in photojournalism class working on his assignments and getting the work done in the classroom. Mr. Sanchez is a student athlete here at Linn-Benton as he is on the basketball team.    Linn-Benton Basketball star (Kamana Lapina) working on his schoolwork. Getting his homework done, studying for tests, is what the student athlete does to make sure he earns a good GPA here at LBCC.  Although this photo does not involve the persons face, I like how the angle of the photo turned out.

  My teammate (Mesziah Ford) shooting a jump shot during warm-ups. As I had a talk with Ford, he was telling me about how he wants to have a good freshman season and how he is the only member in his family to play a college sport.
