I chose completely different photos from each other this week. Photo taken Nov. 27th, 2023. As soon as I saw this ice cream shop “Hasty Freez” I had to take a photo of it. I feel like it’s a super rare place and it’s like a building that you see in movies from like the 1970’s. It has that feel to it where it looks like a super old building in a newer time. That reasoning right there is why it made me excited to take this photo. It’s a truly nice place and it gives me that old fashioned vibe.    Photo taken Nov.27th, 2023. I have been meaning to take a photo of this clock tower for as long as I've lived In Oregon. I first moved to Oregon two years ago and the first place I lived was Albany for about a month. Out of everything in Albany this tower stuck out to me right away and I never forgot about it. The way it looks is so flashy and it makes it stand out to everyone who drives by. Oct.27 2023. Tim Mollerstrom is the Facilities operator at Linn-Benton Community College. I asked Tim some questions on what he does to get a better understanding of the day in the life of a Facilities Operator. Tim stocks and takes care of all the accessories and equipment that every athlete at LB needs. He's responsible of all the daily operations that go on in the activities center and he is to make sure everything is in check and going right. Tim does a great job at what he does and Linn-Benton is lucky to have him. First thing time does in the morning is he comes in and makes sure all the locker rooms are unlocked for the athletes to start their day. He then works at his desk checking all the things he needs to get done In a full days work. At the end of the day he checks every room in the athletic center and makes sure they are all supplied with the inventory that they need for the next day to begin.

Artwork from Western Oregon. Donated to Linn-Benton English Department in 2011. The artist of this artwork is Mary Harden. Beautiful piece of work over in the North Santiam building of Linn-Benton. Nice Fall day at Linn-Benton Community college on November 3rd, 2023.  The beautiful colors of the trees in the background on this photo really make it pop. The freshly cut grass is a great addition in the photo. Linn-Benton Community College, down in the Calapoota center this nice piece of art work catches your eyes as soon as you step foot in the building. It’s a wonderful piece done by Yannie Alvarez. It was in honor of those who passed away while migrating to the Mexico/Us border.
