Around Town Photos- Liam Spencer


This photo was taken on Oct.20th, 2023. Not the greatest quality photo. Still a very unique picture. It’s not very often people see peacocks just walking around. The fact that two are shown in this picture along with a peacock statue is quite interesting. Peacocks are one of the most fascinating birds, they are truly a beautiful animal and getting two in the same photo was something I was very happy about getting.

                       This was a shot taken Oct.19th, 2023. Sunrise on a Tuesday morning. What a peaceful sky to look at to start your day.  The way the colors look at when you're driving down the road it's a real pretty sight. The first thing to catch your eyes is the pink that is staring right Infront of you. 


Photo of a car crash at Linn-Benton on Oct,11th, 2023. Subaru Outback hits into the back of a Mazda6. The story behind the crash was the Subaru Outback was parked in a spot above but behind the Mazda6, as the driver got out of the car, he forgets to put it in park as he gets out of the car. So, as he gets out and heads into the building the car begins to slowly roll backwards. As it is rolling it rolls all the way backwards until it is stopped by the back of the Mazda. That is leading up to the picture taken above.

 Hi, my name is Liam Spencer. I still am undecided on my major even though I'd like to get my bachelor's degree in criminal justice, the reason why I'm "Undecided" is because Linn-Benton doesn't allow that to be a major. I took this class because I wanted to be able to take an Art class In-person because I am not the best learner online. It is easier for me to focus when it is a face-to-face class. Photos on the job - Liam Spencer

Kevin Sanchez putting in the work to make sure he gets his schoolwork done. He had to make sure he had a nice warm brew to keep him focused. Kevin is in photojournalism class working on his assignments and getting the work done in the classroom. Mr. Sanchez is a student athlete here at Linn-Benton as he is on the basketball team.    Linn-Benton Basketball star (Kamana Lapina) working on his schoolwork. Showing the hard work and dedication he puts into the classroom. True inspiration. Lapina is getting his math homework done as he hopes to get a good grade in the class. Getting his homework done, studying for tests, is what the student athlete does to make sure he earns a good GPA here at LBCC.  Although this photo does not involve the persons face, I like how the angle of the photo turned out.

  My teammate (Mesziah Ford) shooting a jump shot during warm-ups. As I had a talk with Ford, he was telling me about how he wants to have a good freshman season and how he is the only member in his family to play a college sport. He really takes pride in that as he is ready to suit up for the Roadrunners this season.                     Oregon State vs. Utah before game time the band practicing their halftime routine.
